About The Role
Buyers are responsible for selecting high quality and re-sellable clothing, shoes and accessories for the store aligning with Reunion's buying guidelines. All inventory is handpicked, authenticated and appraised by our Buying Team. Our buyers have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as a comprehensive understanding of the Reunion Customer, current trends and the Australian fashion landscape.
What You Have
- Strong interest in fashion and understanding of the resale market
- Extensive brand knowledge ranging from mid range brands to premium and luxury designer
- Ability and willingness to learn how to assess, authenticate and appraise clothing, shoes and accessories in alignment with Reunion's buying guidelines.
- Broad, up to date knowledge of fashion trend cycles
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to remain calm and level headed under pressure

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within the buying team to assess and select inventory.
- Assess, authenticate and appraise items adhering to Reunion's buying guidelines and procedure.
- Provide kind, personalised and informative customer service.
- Maintain an understanding of current trend cycles, brand knowledge and resale value within the secondhand fashion industry.
- Support in retail tasks including but not limited to; processing sales, inventory management and visual merchandising, maintaining outstanding store condition and customer service standards.

About The Role
The Assistant Store Manager works alongside the Store Manager to support and guide the Retail and Buying Team at Reunion Newtown.
You will work collaboratively with the team in all aspects of the business, including leading the Buying Team in selecting and assessing clothing, shoes and accessories for the store inventory directly from our customer base.
This role is a permanent part time position working 33 hours over a four day working week. Must be available Sunday - Wednesday.
What You Have
- Retail Management experience is required
- Broad knowledge and interest in fashion and the secondhand resale industry
- Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship building skills
- Ability and willingness to learn how to assess, authenticate and appraise clothing, shoes and accessories in alignment with Reunion's buying guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning in all areas
- Provide direction and support to Retail and Buying staff
- Lead buying team with expert knowledge of fashion and eye for detail to ensure all purchases align with our buying guidelines
- Maintain a high level of inventory curation based on an extensive understanding of the secondhand fashion industry and the Reunion Customer
- Monitor and implement outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Provide excellent customer service and competently resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
